Verdict
Nick Vaughan's Cavendish Road has claims on the form shown when chasing home Kipchak at Lingfield two starts ago but he disappointed at the same venue last month, although that was on the Polytrack, but he looks best watched. John Spearing's Farmers Dream ran much better over course and distance last month but a 2lb rise since that run makes this tougher. Dual recent course winner Fire King has to be considered but he has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper for those successes and of more interest may be Mnasikia. Luca Cumani's filly is lightly raced after just four outings on the Polytrack and there could be more to come from her now racing on turf but a better bet looks to be CROESO CUSAN, who gets the vote. John Spearing's mare probably found the ground softer than ideal at Chepstow last time and she looks worth chancing back on a sound surface off her current mark.
