Verdict

Rudry Dragon deserves to get his head in front having been knocking on the door for some time now but Paul Blockley's colt has been gradually creeping up the weights as a result of his consistency and may again have to settle for a minor role with preference for Riley Boys, who is taken to confirm recent course and distance form with Mister Fizzbomb. The last mentioned has a 3lb pull with the selection for the one-and-a-quarter lengths that separated the pair here earlier this month and has to be respected but James Given has his team in really good form at present and there may be more to come from Riley Boys. David Murray-Smith's Piper's Song would need to improve on the form shown in his two previous outings this term to take a hand in the finish, while Princess Cocoa should appreciate the return to this trip having seemingly failed to stay 1m4f last time. Del Mar Sunset represents the in-form Willie Haggas stable but disappointed on his reappearance and may now be best watched in a race that is taken to go to Riley Boys.
