A number of exposed types here and Prince Vector is given a chance to redeem himself at the expense of Canndar and Indian Pipe Dream. The selection ran a stinker last time out in an amateur riders event but had demonstrated a degree of ability on a fast surface in the past. Granted, there is a question mark with regard to the trip but Richard Johnson has a sizable strike rate for the trainer and he could be a decent prize following that blowout. Tim Vaughan has been among the winners and ex-Aga Khan castoff Canndar is a half-brother to Caradak and shaped with some promise when trained in Ireland. The market is watched on British introduction. Indian Pipe Dream is a long standing maiden over hurdles. A good traveller in his races, he does not find a lot in the finish. Kilcannon Supreme has been a tad disappointing since graduating out of bumpers. He was well held at Bangor and more is required today. Mr Dass placed at 100/1 in a soft ground hurdle at Newton Abbot. The Spieler showed little in two starts over further and it remains to be seen as to what we can expect with those two starts obtaining with two-and-a-half years. What A Biscuit looked useful a year ago in bumpers. He soon lost touch at Worcester once tried over the obstacles. The remainder look distinctly ordinary. Prince Vector is our pick.
