The going should be on the easy side and this is not a race to get too serious about, though official ratings point to AMBER CRYSTAL having an outstanding chance. John Gallagher's filly is ranked 10lb higher than her nearest rival and her only victory to date came on soft ground. Special Code is next best but she was beaten in similar company when facing soft conditions at Leicester last month while Declan Carroll tries the locally-trained Rutland Panther in blinkers for the first time. Black Pudding landed a Ripon seller in August and changed hands but was well beaten in a handicap on his reappearance.
