HOBART looked as though he needed softer ground when narrowly beaten over this trip at Limerick, where he needed rousting along from the start. He will have benefited from the run and can get off the mark. Knockmaole Boy stayed on nicely at the finish over 7f at Gowran so this longer trip is in his favour and Letter Focus made a promising start at Naas where he looked in need of the experience. Mutadhamen's pedigree is all about sprinting and he's been confined to 6f so far and his chance revolves around whether he will stay the extra.
