Verdict
LAWLESS ISLAND is one of only two runners to have made the trek up from Tim Vaughan's South Wales base and this winning pointer can make a winning debut over hurdles having shown promise in bumpers. He is more likely to appreciate this soft ground than Black Jack Rover, who has also won between the flags and won a bumper but has been well beaten in two starts so far over hurdles. Lucy Milan hinted at ability when fourth here last month but will have to prove she stays this far. Wildest Dreams and Willie Whistle look the pick of the remainder.
