This presents Gone Fishing with a good chance to get off the mark; possibly at the main experience of Etaar and Red Riot, who make plenty of appeal for different reasons. The latter makes his debut today and it is obviously worth noting how the market reacts to his presence this afternoon. David Loder has an impeccable knack of getting the best out of younger horses and a solid move for this son of Red Ransom could be dangerous to ignore. Etaar comes form a less exhaled family but did shape up well enough on his debut to be respected here, while Brahminty Kite is another to post a look out for as he is an expensive purchase that can be expected to know what is required of him sooner rather than later. However, the fact that he has no fancy entries and is being introduced at this level does temper the confidence a little and he may be best watched today. Therefore, we prefer the experience held by Gone Fishing, who came up against a potentially useful type from the Godolphin operation when he was last seen out. The daughter of Cadeaux Genereaux - a sister to winning miler Gone Fishing - should relish this extra half furlong if she repeats that effort and will be very hard to overhaul when they bear down on the line.
