Too many to mention with chances in this handicap but we will short list them down to three, namely Princelywallywogan, Gala Sunday and King of Rhythm with the vote going to the last named. The selection has finished second in three of his last four outings but we feel he is weighted to win a race of this nature. His recent second behind Supercast at Ayr reads well and with a high draw to suit, if reproducing that same level of form he can go close. Princelywallywogan has won three times this season going up sixteen pounds in the process. He ran well over course and distance recently and has a favoured high draw here, but it remains to be seen as to whether or not the handicapper has got a grip on him. Gala Sunday seems to save his best for amateur rider races these days. He has run well in that sphere on his last two outings, and the fact that Serena Brotherton is the only jockey to have won on the horse in the past two years suggests that he goes best for the lady rider. So for the winner we return to King of Rhythm.
