The three to note here are Mr Crystal, The Whirlingdervish and Pegasus Prince with are vote going to the last named. The selection has risen fifteen pounds since winning at Southwell on the all weather in April. All three wins this season have come at that track but he did fair well when second at Carlisle recently where he was not beaten far. He still looks a progressive type and with that in mind he is one to stay on the right side of. The Whirlingdervish on the other hand has been about for what seems like an eternity. At the age of ten he continues to perform well, as he did when second to Aphorism at Pontefract last time out. He wins his couple of races year in and year out and it will be no surprise to see him go close once again. Mr Crystal was a winner at Newcastle back in May and has since run well in defeat. He has the benefit of having run well over course and distance in the past so is one to note in the market, but for the winner we return to Pegasus Prince.
