Verdict

Another maximum field for the second division of this handicap for conditional jockeys. Shark Hanlon's veteran Star Of Angels got back to winning ways at Wexford and a 5lb rise is not excessive. Katie O'Farrell knows how the get the best out of him and another big run is anticipated. Sam King only won a maiden point-to-point at Ballingary last month but has shown ability over hurdles in the past so can't be ignored. The four-year-old DUKE CASS was placed at Fairyhouse and Ballinrobe in April. Things went slightly awry after that but he had a pipe-opener on the Flat here on Thursday to blow away any cobwebs and could make his presence felt in a race like this.
