THREAT ASSESSED continued his good progress when scoring at Sandown three weeks ago. His earlier success came in soft ground so Clive Cox’ colt should make another bold bid in this. Wild Hacked is weighted to reverse latest running with the selection but is untested in soft going and Navajo War Dance makes more appeal given he will handle the underfoot conditions and should find this easier than at Royal Ascot last time. Dark Devil has plenty to prove over the distance and Champagne City remains out of form but Wall of Fire is unexposed and should be capable of better.
