In depth

Verdict

Reafadda is still a pound out of the handicap despite scoring at Ballinrobe in May. To Choose won at this meeting last year but was only fifth when favourite at Wexford last month. Seeyouallincoppers was also market leader in a chase at Limerick last time but under pressure when falling two out. Perhaps a switch back to hurdles will see him in a better light and the same trainer/jockey combination won this 12 months ago. The mare THE NUTCRACKER is running well and will again be aided by Mark Flanagan's allowance. She can get the better of recent Wexford scorer Flaviana, who is 5lb higher now, and the returning Tigris River.
