Nonrunner
A lowly and wide open handicap rounds off the card, and we'll take a chance with TREVIAN ahead of Barodine and Precious Citizen. None of these are in great form, and several, including Trevian have been jumping, again without much success. Tim Vaughan doesn't have many flat runners, and Trevian's shown up well here in the past, albeit over slightly shorter, but there are no stamina doubts about him. Support in the ring would encourage us. Precious Citizen is Jeremy Gask's only runner on the card; he showed improvement from first to second run for new connections, and further progess could be enough to win this, although he's never raced as far before. Barodine was a decent second at Brighton last time out, but may be carrying too much here to be really competitive, but he can be relied on to give backers a run for their money. It's not a great getting out contest, but there has to be a winner, and we think it can be Trevian.
