Verdict

GOLDEN DESTINY can complete a hat-trick here, and looks the call ahead of Captain Carey and Raimond Ridge. The two previous successes, both at Sandown, were at this sort of level, and she's still looking well handicapped. Trainer and jockey are both in fine form, and stall one is another plus, albeit in a small field. Related to Pivotal, she was a cheap purchase and after an indifferent season as a two year old, has really come into her own this year. Captain Carey isn't always the quickest, but is still more than capable of winning. Success came his way in a similar race at Windsor last time out, but he's also shown himself capable of winning at this stiffer track. Raimond Ridge is nought from ten, and his best form has come on the all-weather; he'd need everything to fall right to win this, but with more than a stone in hand on Affluent and nearly as much on Golden Destiny, he's now back at a mark below his last victory. White Shift is capable at both five and six furlongs, but hasn't been in great form of late. It looks huigely competitive, but we'll side with the treble seeking Golden Destiny.
