DINGAAN, Cheam Forever and Carbon Hoofprint all have some appeal as they're in good form, and we'll marginally favour the claims of the first named. Dingaan won a similar race here last time out, but that was his first success in two years, after regularly knocking on the door. He gives weight away to all bar Desert Dreamer, but being at the top end didn't prove a problem last time. However, he's not won back to back races for three years which may be a concern. The hat-trick chasing Cheam Forever may find this company a little too hot, but he's well drawn and has a stone in hand on Dingaan. Carbon Hoofprint is another who won here last time out, and is a consistent sort. The draw would be a negative for him, but the yard are in fine form. We wouldn't be surprised to see a battle royakl between the shortlisted trio, but to come home first we'll side with Dingaan.
