Top trainers are represented again here including Sir Michael Stoute who runs both Molem and Undergraduate, both could figure in the finish, along with the Godolphin runner Tamatave, but we will take a chance on Barbary Coast. Willie Muir doesn't often run decent juveniles at this time of year, but Barbary Coast looked a certain future winner when chasing home the impressive Luis Melendez at Leicester last week. With the big boys having entries here he should go off at a decent price, and if the debutantes are nothing special he could land first prize. Having said that Undergraduate is superbly bred by Unfuwain out of a Teenoso mare, middle distances will be his forte next season, but he should still be good enough to take a hand here. Stable-mate Molem showed plenty of promise on his Kempton debut. He was given a gentle introduction and we should see a much improved performance.Tamatave is steadily finding his feet and can be expected to be in the shake up again. As with the previous race, keep a watch on the betting, but if Barbary Coast was with a more fashionable trainer he would be a much shorter price, so he could be the value bet.
