A very competitive handicap that may fall to Autumn Wealth, with Skylarker and Merrymaker put forward as the main dangers. Amanda Perrett's filly easily landed a Beverley maiden last time despite making life difficult for herself and her jockey by persisting in hanging left, running wide off the home turn and eventually coming to the stands' side. The ability is there, because she won by four lengths, but going left-handed today should suit her better. Skylarker has had a long old season but showed no signs of a dip in form when easily landing an amateur riders handicap at Ascot last time, and should run his race again under Frankie. Merrymaker got his just rewards for some promising efforts when easily beating Resonate in a modest handicap at Wolverhampton last time and is certain to figure in the finish, but Autumn Wealth is very lightly raced and looks the best bet off this low weight
