Captain Johnno, Annibale Caro and Revien are the three to concentrate on here and the nomination is given to Captain Johnno. The selection hails from the David Loder yard and has shown plenty of promise on his three starts to date. He was a good third behind Dane's Castle last time over 5 furlongs and if he can reproduce that effort here then he should take plenty of beating with the extra furlong not expected to be problem. Annibale Caro rates the main danger as he is a well-bred colt by Mtoto and his trainer Sir Mark Prescott is sure to have him fully tuned up for his racecourse bow, so if the market speaks in his favour then he could go well. Revien showed plenty of dash on his debut when second behind Turn On The Style at Catterick and he was staying on strongly at the finish that day so the extra furlong should play to his strengths. Of the remainder, Bond Babe has shown a consistent level of form but will need to improve to take this, and for the winner we return to Captain Johnno.
