Santa Caterina is well exposed but should be up to winning a race of this nature and is taken to beat Neath and Petrosa. John Dunlop's filly bounced back to form on heavy ground at Haydock last time, finishing a close up third behind Musicanna. That race was over a mile but she has also run well over this trip in the past and should be good enough to beat these modest rivals. Neath is lightly raced and looks set to improve on what she has so far achieved. Her most recent effort was at Sandown when third to Maraakeb on good ground. Today's soft conditions are a slight concern, but if she handles the surface she will be a big danger to the selection. Petrosa, from the in form David Elsworth yard has shown enough against decent opposition to warrant plenty of respect here, but Santa Caterina is more likely to relish these conditions and is a confident choice
