    Verdict

Just A Dancer impressed on soft ground at Leicester last time and can follow up here, with Spanish Bounty and Carleton the most likely dangers. Barry Hills' runner ran with credit over c&d here in April and handled firm ground okay that day. Cut proved no obstacle last time and with a Queen Mary entry connections clearly think she is a decent sort, so she can underline that here whatever conditions prevail. Spanish Bounty ran on well to land a 6f contest here earlier in the month and that was far more encouraging than his debut. If he can produce that sort of effort again back over the minimum then he will be closely involved. Carleton enjoyed the juice in the ground when winning a Windsor novices' contest on debut but was out of his depth last time. The drop in class should be in his favour and he looks another for the frame, but our preference here is for Just A Dancer to waltz home.
