In depth

Verdict

Balthazar King, Money Order and Mith Hill catch the eye here, with Balthazar King still looking well treated, and taken to make amends for a fall last time out. Money Order has been running consistently, and he duly won at Bangor two outings ago. He ran well to be second off a 10lb higher mark recently and can go well again here. A winner on the Flat at Chester in September, Mith Hill has been going well over hurdles, finishing in the runners-up spot in a good contest at Cheltenham in November. Given a four month break since, he may just need the run but is respected. A winner of successive races in October, Balthazar King is yet to win in handicap grade, but indicated his turn may not be far away when chasing home Wolf Moon at Cheltenham. A faller next time, Balthazar King looks well treated and can rule here.
