The betting will no doubt give us a good clue as to how much expectation there is behind our selection, Autograph, who edges a narrow verdict over Martovic, Lady Speaker and Camden Bella. The last named was not given a hard time on her debut last month but should have learnt from the experience. However, she does need to find a little improvement and it is probably best to just take notes this time. Lady Speaker has shown signs of ability and should be able to make an impact at a modest level. However, she has already had a few chances in this sort of race and now looks ready for a new challenge. Martovic needs a strong pace to be seen to her best effect and it will be no surprise to see JP McNamara make more use of her today. She will not fail for stamina and is fancied to give the selection the most to do. However, Autograph was a real eye-catcher on his debut in March and makes more appeal at the likely odds. He failed to settle when he was last seen out and did not get home as a result. However, as others also appear to need a solid tempo, Autograph can benefit from the way the race pans out and is given another chance today.
