Last time out winners Goodbye Cash and Appelouse will have their supporters whilst Jamieson Gold has found some form of late but we prefer the chances of APACHE NATION. Michael Dods' runner is faced with his optimum conditions on his return from a short break and is only 2lbs higher than when last successful over course and distance in October. He has run well fresh after a similar absence in the past and has an experienced pilot in the plate. Appelouse has done his Flat racing on artificial surfaces so has to prove that he can translate that ability to turf and of more interest is Goodbye Cash who has found a new lease of life of late and may be able to cope with a penalty. Jamieson Gold is another who was competitive off higher marks in his prime and recent efforts indicate that he's up to winning from his current perch whilst the likes of Bivouac and Papa's Princess couldn't be confidently dismissed but their scalps may be taken by Apache Nation.
