MUTAWARATH stands out in this field in terms of potential although experienced campaigners like Bond City and Misphire could cause him problems. The selection is a rare runner at the track for William Haggas who appears to have found a decent opportunity for his son of Marju. The form of his maiden win has worked out well whilst Class Is Class gives his Yarmouth fourth a decent look and his initial mark seems fair whilst the drop back from a mile shouldn't trouble him. Esoterica goes well here but may not appreciate the ground and a bigger threat may be posed by the versatile Bond City who bounced back to form last time. Cases can be made for Raptor and Zomerlust but of more interest may be Misphire who acts well with cut in the ground and has slipped to a winning mark but it's a major concern that Phillip Makin has failed to get the best out of her. In any event, she could struggle to cope with the unexposed and, hopefully, progressive Mutawarath.
