Verdict

Flying Heart won with authority three days ago and, as she is obviously a step ahead of the handicapper, she is too hard to ignore in a race that looks to be hers for the taking. Blades Boy and Ashes are in good enough form to make a race of it, while Howards Princess is better than she showed last time and is worth considering for a place if the dead eight stand their ground. Ashes has been consistent and will be a willing partner for the in-form Neil Callan, who will be keen to remind observers of the positive side of his talents after he picked up a two-day ban at Carlisle on Monday. However, his mount was no match for either Blades Boy nor the selection in recent outings. The weights very much favour Flying Heart coming out on top on these terms and the daughter of Bahamian Bounty looks set to keep the assessor on his toes for the time being.
