Forces Sweetheart has shown enough in two races to suggest that she can win a race of this nature and gets the vote to do so at the main expense of newcomers Pure Fiction and Shermeen. The last mentioned hails from the yard of Jamie Osborne that has suddenly hit form so the daughter of Desert Style has to be respected on ground that, on pedigree, should suit. Being by Zilzal, Pure Fiction should handle any further softening of the ground and has claims although Richard Hannon's juvenile shave tended to need their first run this term. Nerys Dutfield's two-year-olds normally need a run or two to put them spot on so a bigger threat to the selection is likely to come from Mick Channon's Magical Music, who should come on for her debut outing behind the useful Oceans Apart at Windsor. The vote though goes to Forces Sweetheart, who showed promise first time out and again when chasing home Empress Jain at Nottingham last time. A reproduction of that latest effort should suffice for Michael Bell's filly who should be tough to beat.
