Verdict

Disappointingly just the four runners line up for this novice stakes race and, unless Romantic Interlude improves greatly from her debut effort, the finish should revolve around the other three runners with AAHAYKID preferred to Tale of Silver and Guestofthenation. The last mentioned was good value for his win at Thirsk on testing ground earlier this month and Mark Johnston's colt has to be respected on ground that he clearly handles perfectly well. Alan Swinbank's Tale of Silver looks to be going the right way but has yet to confirm that he handles ground as soft as this and a better bet may be Aahaykid. Karl Burke's colt has only raced on a soft surface so far, clearly handles it well and he is taken to follow up his recent Warwick success.
