        Verdict

        Linda Green is bound to be a popular choice having won her last two starts and is taken to complete the hat-trick with Aahgowangowan and Karminskey Park rated the main dangers. The selection has been ridden to lead close home in winning her last two starts, both at Bath, and is the type that makes the handicapper's job a difficult one as she may have plenty more improvement to come. Today's softer surface should hold no fears for the daughter of Victory Note, who has an obvious chance of scoring again. Top weight Aahgowangowan has claims on the form shown when successful at Thirsk two starts ago but has since disappointed at Hamilton and a bigger threat may come from Karminskey Park. Not for the first time, Tim Etherington's mare ran below expectations on the Polytrack last time but earlier form at Nottingham is solid and she has to be respected. Lynda Ramsden's Favour is closely matched with Aahgowangowan on Thirsk running and is another to consider along with the reappearing Pertemps Magus but Linda Green has an obvious chance and is taken to win again.
