Cashier has a progressive profile and John Gosden's colt who was narrowly beaten on his handicap debut when last seen at Sandown in June, is taken to make a winning return at the main expense of Spirit of France and Audience. The last mentioned has slipped to a fair mark but has given little sign of encouragement of late and John Akehurst's five-year-old may be best watched. Roger Charlton's Balavista has claims on the form shown when successful at Haydock in June but disappointed on the sand subsequently and now comes back after a break. Kelucia is 4lbs higher than when scoring narrowly at Redcar last time and of more interest may be Richard Hannon's Prince Samos, who showed signs of running into form at Newmarket last time. Mark Johnston's Spirit of France bounced back to winning ways at Musselburgh on his most recent start and is another to consider but Cashier looks to be ahead of the handicapper and, provided that he is fit enough after a break, should be good enough.
