Rann Na Cille is the pick ahead of Howards Tipple, Angel Voices and Lake Chini. Having won a seller at Ripon in August, it would appear that nothing special was expected of the selection, but since being fitted with blinkers, Kevin Ryan's filly has shown that she is capable of adding to her tally as long as she is not too highly tried. Slightly hampered at Musselburgh last time, she appears to be an improving sort, and is a tentative pick. Howards Tipple was just touched off over five furlongs here a fortnight ago, and although not entirely trustworthy, has conditions to suit, so rates a danger. Angel Voices has slipped down the weights since last year, and will be fancied to lose her maiden tag over the next few weeks, while Lake Chini has the form to win this but is saddled with topweight. Rann Na Cille is our idea of the winner.
