Sohraab deserves to get his head in front having been placed in each of his last five starts but he may have to settle for minor honours again having been raised 5lbs for his latest effort and preference is for Obstructive, who gets the vote ahead of Desert Opal. The last mentioned overcame a bad draw when successful under a brilliant ride from Jamie Spencer at Beverley in May and it is of interest that Spencer is back on board again today so he has to be of interest. Dig Deep has paid the penalty for improved form on the all-weather and needs some help from the handicapper, while Figaro Flyer is on a long losing sequence and may have to settle for a place at best. The lightly raced Ken's Girl looks to be going the right way and is another worthy of a mention but preference is for Obstructive, who is similarly lightly raced but has shown better form of late.
