It probably was not the best of maidens that Artsu won at York and Michael Bell's colt looks best watched on his nursery debut with preference for Barbarossa, who gets the vote ahead of Shifting Star. The last mentioned stepped up on the form of his debut effort when running out the good looking winner of a Newmarket maiden last time and is bred to handle the ground so could be of interest. Archived has a similar profile but is less likely to be suited by the underfoot conditions, while Borasco does handle the ground but looks to have plenty of weight for what he has achieved. Pelican Prince is another worthy of a mention but preference is for Richard Hannon's Barbarossa who has a progressive profile, should handle the ground and comes from a very much in-form yard.
