Navado looked a horse to follow when winning at Newbury last month and is taken to follow up with the consistent Sailing Through and the lightly raced Hawksbill looking the main dangers. The last mentioned is less exposed than his rivals after just four outings and remains open to improvement but needs to step up on his latest effort at Goodwood to figure off a mark of 105 on his handicap debut. Sailing Through completed a four timer when winning at Newbury in August and, judged by his latest effort at Epsom, may now be in the grip of the handicapper. Counsel's Opinion bounced back to form when winning a classified stakes race at the last meeting here but is likely to find this tougher, while Adiemus has harshly been raised 7lbs for his second the Cambridgeshire last week. Zonergem remains something of an enigmatic performer and is tackling 1m2f for the first time. The longer trip may help but he is probably best watched in a race that is expected to go to Navado.
