    Verdict

Peak To Creek did us a big favour at Redcar and we shall stay loyal to Jeremy Noseda's colt, while being wary of the likes of Orcadian and Sutter's Fort. Peak To Creek overcame a bad draw when landing the Redcar Two-Year-Old Trophy a week ago, and providing that he is over those exertions, should make a bold bid to follow up. The son of Royal Applause is reckoned capable of winning in Listed or even Group company and his trainer is resigned to losing him sooner or later. In the meantime he can win his sixth race of his short career under Pat Eddery who takes over from Shane Kelly. Strictly on the form-book he has nothing in hand over Orcadian, the latter being three pounds better off for a head beating at Yarmouth, and James Eustace's colt will be in the shake-up as well. David Loder has a good record on the Knavesmire this season so it would be foolish to discount Sutter's Fort. Winner of a valuable prize at The Curragh, he would not want any rain to fall, and with conditions to suit, will be on the premises as well. Blue Tomato has already won twice over the course and distance and has been highly tried of late. He bids to bounce back after a comprehensive defeat in France last time and comes the stable that won this three years ago with Atmospheric. Philharmonic is on the upgrade but might find this company too hot to handle at this stage of his career, and for the answer to this tricky Listed race we return to Peak To Creek.
