Pentecost, Benandonner and Ace of Hearts make the shortlist here, with Benandonner a sporting selection to come out on top. Ace of Hearts had shown only a smattering of form before winning readily at Goodwood last time, and although he has only been raised only four pounds for that success, he may not be able to follow up. Pentecost won in Dubai in February but had been out of form since, before finishing a close third here last time. That was an improvement on recent efforts and he can go well. Benandonner has been the epitome of consistency, being placed on four of his five starts to date this season. He ran his usual sound race in defeat at Musselburgh last time, and with doubts about the strength of the opposition, Benandonner, whose good performances have come in strong handicaps, is taken to land his first win of the campaign.
