Odiham, Nobelix and Leg Spinner are the shortlisted trio here, with Nobelix taken to score again. Leg Spinner ran a good race in the Ascot Stakes, finishing fourth, and the form looks solid. He did not like the testing conditions in the Northumberland Plate last time, but underlined his wellbeing with a smooth success at Galway last week in a handicap hurdle. He is respected. Odiham has won twice this season, and is durable and always runs his race, although the ground looks quicker than he would appreciate. Nobelix has to reverse Ascot form with Odiham and Leg Spinner, but the extended distance found him out that day, and he turned in a good performance to score at Newmarket last time. Nobelix wins more than his fair share of races is in the form of his life, and can land perhaps his biggest success here.
