        Verdict

        John Terry, Strategic Mount and Kerriemuir Lass are on the shortlist here with Strategic Mount taken to lead them home. Strategic Mount ran up a hat trick last season, and ran well on his re-appearance before tiring in the closing stages in a tough handicap. He will be a lot sharper this time, and is the one to be on. Kerriemuir Lass won well over this trip at Windsor, and although not as effective over a shorter trip last time, can go well although she may now be a little high in the weights. John Terry showed his tenacity to score at Newmarket two outings ago, and although well beaten since, off only a four pound higher mark he cannot be discounted now he returns to fast ground. However, for the selection we return to Strategic Mount.
