Favourites don't have a great record in this race which is something worth bearing in mind, however without the betting information we will side with Dawn Light ahead of the exposed Little Finch and Brilliant Sensation. The selection represents a stable in good form and looks to have been fond a weak race, having finished second in a similar contest last time out. She has shown an ability to act on quick ground and gets the vote. Little Finch is a regular in this grade but was poor last time out in handicap company and doesn't come here in good form. Steal My Fire would not need to be a world-beater to make a winning debut but it cannot be too encouraging that he is introduced at this level. Llab Nala looks the pick of the Mick Channon pair, especially on jockey bookings but needs to step up on his most recent run, whilst Brilliant Sensation finished in front of him last time out and looks to have taken well to cheek-pieces. Elusive Lady is another for consideration however dawn Light is fancied to score.
