SOUL HEAVEN could be the one to land this prize with Cultured Pride and Step In Time other options in an open race. The selection would have gone close on debut with a clear run and fulfilled that promise when scoring readily at Lingfield. The form of that maiden is ordinary but he won well and the third has gone on to win a modest nursery whilst the runner-up was due to line-up at Epsom on Thursday evening. Timelord was well backed at Salisbury but didn't really live up to expectations whilst Desert Auction has to bounce back from two poor displays albeit in Listed company. Merseyside Star may have found the ground too soft at Pontefract and could fare better here as may Step In Time who showed speed for six furlongs before weakening quickly in the Chesham Stakes; Saxby is another that may be worth another chance. Wigan Lane is progressing whilst the form of Cultured Pride's maiden win was given a boost when the third home, Lady Darshaan, took third in the Cherry Hinton so she has to be of keen interest. The suggestion, though, is Soul Heaven.
