Just about all of these can be given a chance in this contest, but the vote goes to Futun. Purple Moon was not beaten too far in the Hampton Court Stakes at Royal Ascot last time and rates a major player here. Futun comes here as a lightly-raced improver and also holds big claims. Raised six pounds for a Ripon win, David Pipe's Scotland Yard cannot be ruled out, while Nihal won here as a juvenile and, much as he has not fully built on that, he showed signs of a return to form last time. Finally, Auction Room is heading towards a more-realistic mark now but, even so, has a little to prove on more-recent efforts. Not so with Futun, who gets the vote.
