Al Qasi gets the confident vote in this handicap with Sir Orpen and The History Man rating the main dangers. The selection won well last time out when beating Even Bolder, enters handicaps off what looks a fair mark, and from a good draw he will be hard to beat. Sir Orpen rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind the progressive Cindertrack but he is more exposed than the selection and is passed over for that reason. The History Man lost all chance at the stalls last time out but if he gets out on terms with his rivals here he will be a danger to all, but all his best form is with more cut in the ground and he is opposable on that basis. Bahamian Duke is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him when third behind Glasshoughton last time out. Of the remainder Mulligan's Gold is from a yard in form and looks on a handy mark so could go well at a price but for the winner we return to the unexposed Al Qasi.
