Verdict

The short list contains Namu, Patavium Prince and Musical Script, with the vote going to Patavium Prince. Namu can be fancied if able to establish a lead, while Patavium Prince is running consistently and can be rated a little higher than his unlucky Newmarket run last time behind the progressive Bustin Justin. Overwing is dropping to a more-reasonable mark and tries six furlongs for the first time, while Discotheque was noted staying on last time but will this trip prove too sharp? The lightly raced Musical Script showed improvement at this trip last time and is not ruled out of a good run, and Thoughtsofstardom's wins so far have come in sellers. For us, most of the others still have something to prove which, in turn, returns us to the selection, which is Patavium Prince.
