Inchnadamph is in good heart at present and can pay to follow here, with Merrymaker, Jack Of trumps and Danakil others to consider. We have not included Lawrence Of Arabia on the short-list but any support in the ring for Sir Mark Prescott's charge should be seriously noted. However, based on the racecourse evidence so far, Inchnadamph will make a bold bid to complete a hat-trick after back-to-back successes at Hamilton. Those victories at the Scottish track probably justified the handicapper's decision to put him up five pounds for finishing second at Ayr prior to the first of his visits to the winner's enclosure and he has a bit more to come we reckon. Merrymaker was all out to score at Newbury but as that was an apprentice race he does not get a penalty and can give the selection a race. Jack Of Trumps has a bit more to do however than when winning narrowly at Salisbury, while Danakil did not find much in the closing stages at Kempton and will be better suited to this track. Nevada Desert will appreciate the extra two furlongs after being overhauled at Ripon, and Sporting Gesture is another that should be noted if the betting speaks in his favour. An interesting finale can go the way of Incnadamph.
