A small turnout here and La Persiana can beat her older rivals, the best of whom may be Grey Clouds. There is the danger of a falsely-run race here and La Persiana may have to make his own running, but the half-sister to Grand Lodge has already proven her ability to get a mile and a quarter on her last two starts and has nothing to fear from her three rivals. Connections hope that she will be up to landing a Group or Listed race to enhance her paddock value, so this class C handicap should be well within her capabilities. Grey Clouds scraped home at Chester, having been beaten in a claimer the time before, so is not one to pin your hopes on, and Rani Two has not shown anywhere near enough to warrant support. Rainbow Queen has a long absence to overcome, having finished well beaten in the Fillies' Mile when last seen, and really, it is hard to oppose La Persiana who can complete a hat-trick.
