Another difficult-looking handicap on today’s card. A number of these are well treated on past form including Arecibo, Came From The Dark and Existent. Alligator Alley and Jm Jungle were second and third respectively behind Equilateral over a shade further here last month and Vintage Clarets wasn’t far behind. The latter was fifth in the Portland at Doncaster last week but almost three lengths behind third-placed Intrinsic Bond. VENTURA EXPRESS is rarely beaten far and was only beaten a neck over course and distance off today’s mark in July - his turn may have come around again. Muker has been in good form in lower grade races since unplaced behind Good Earth at Beverley but Wen Moon is more interesting on his second to Looking For Lynda here last time as he goes well on ground with some give.
