In depth

Verdict

The consistent INNSE GALL has won five times but all have come at Class 5 level. However, he wasn’t disgraced in a heritage handicap here two runs ago and was then only beaten five lengths in a Class 3 at Chester when not really handling the tight turns. Unlimited is on a hat-trick after wins at Newbury and Kempton but is raised a further 5lb. Award Dancer was only beaten a head over track and trip earlier this month and is only 2lb higher while it's about time Palamon was getting his head in front but fellow maiden Bosc Girl was only third off this mark at Ayr on Thursday. Invisible Friend has gone up 4lb for last month’s win at Doncaster and softer going would also be a concern.
