towards rear, driven along 3f out, never a factor
towards rear, never dangerous
tracked leader, pushed along over 2f out, ridden and every chance approaching final furlong, no extra close home
The Prince continues to defy his age and should account for Danelor and Gavroche. Ian Williams' charge is ideal material for this level and he looks to relish his racing. A very easy winner at Pontefract before repeating the dose at Windsor, he looks likely to be another banker favourite for the Yorkshire crowds. Danelor finished third in a Premier claimer at Chester. He stays this trip well although he may prefer a bit more cut in the ground these days. Gavroche makes a drop into claiming grade for the first time. He does run well in small fields and could well be a lively danger to the favourite if on the premises within the final furlong. A comment that is equally applicable to Jazz Duke. Yawmi's rating of 100 looks to be a little on the exuberant side for what he has achieved. He isn't that able these days but the market is watched on this occasion. Apache Point and United Nations face difficult tasks. The Prince secures our vote in a race that may be a little more competitive than the market suggests.
