Verdict

Ti Adora deserves to get her head in front following some fine efforts in defeat since winning at Sandown in June but the four-year-old is getting little respite from the handicapper and preference is for the top weight Millville, with Fort Churchill rated the best of the remainder. The selection is only 3lbs higher than when scoring here at the Dante meeting in May and again has draw and ground conditions in his favour, plus the yard of Michael Jarvis is back among the winners. Mark Johnston's Quizzene is well treated on his best but is proving to be expensive to follow, while Stretton is difficult to recommend on recent evidence but does have the assistance of Frankie Dettori. Gringo now looks to be in the grip of the handicapper, while the in-form Inchloch has yet to prove his stamina for this trip and is far from certain to stay this far. Sir Michael Stoute's lightly raced Purple Moon could be of interest dropping into a handicap for the first time but would need to run better than when last seen and of more interest may be Fort Churchill, who has come back to form recently and has a nice racing weight. Millville has to give weight away all round but he may well be up to the task and he has plenty going for him.
