        Verdict

        CLOUDBRIDGE looked to hit a flat spot a couple of furlongs out at Leicester on his debut but it was only inexperience and he picked up nicely in the closing stages to win impressively. The Godolphin colt had a subsequent winner back in third and is preferred to Gear Up. The latter made a winning start over track and trip last month and can figure while Praise Of Shadows won nicely at Chester on his debut but faces a different task today. Royal Scimitar and Darvel are winners over 6f with the latter’s success at Ascot looking the stronger form while Goodwood maiden winner Titan Rock is preferred to Spycatcher and Broxi of the remainder.
