Snowy Owl ran his best race to date when only beaten a short-head by the odds-on Ontario at Galway and will be fancied to go one better. But Ontario’s stable runs two in this with Seamie Heffernan preferring EXUMA to newcomer Hector De Maris. The former, by Galileo and brother to a Listed winner, wasn’t given a hard time at Leopardstown and much better is expected today. Rekero has a smart staying pedigree being a brother to a French Group 2 and Group 3 winner so any market interest should be monitored.
